- The 2022 State of Link Building Report is our biggest ever, and provides a comprehensive, industry-level view on the state of link building in 2022 using survey results from 270 SEO professionals across agency, in-house and freelance roles
- Although the respondents answered the majority of the same questions, there was some custom logic that displayed different questions depending on the respondent's role
- Over 20 industry experts then reviewed the results and added their own thoughts and insights
- We saw respondents from people around the world, with people from 31 different countries sharing their thoughts
- Content-led link building remains the most popular tactic
- Link building isn't being outsourced as often as in 2021, but demand for link building (and the associated budgets) remains strong
